The MOTOR project is structured into seven technical work packages and two administrative work packages. The technical work packages are organized into two groups related to the three MOTOR Modules and the four MOTOR Products.
The three horizontal work packages WP2, WP3, and WP4 act as creators of novel CAE technologies, requested by industry to achieve the modernization of their design workflows. The work packages focus on the different types of MOTOR Modules: geometry simulation, and optimization and are worked on in close collaboration by two or more academic partners.
The vertical work packages WP5, WP6, WP7, and WP8 are created around the lead-users of the MOTOR project. Each of them focuses on a specific MOTOR Product, which is a particular type of fluid energy machine. Each work packages focuses on one of the four industrial use-cases, represented by a team of industrial and academic partners.
